Spotlight on Dr. Polk

Dr. Caren Polk hails to us from Rockland County, New York, where she was born and raised. After graduating college from State University of New York at Stony Brook in Long Island, she then attended chiropractic school in Marietta, Georgia at Life Chiropractic College. Dr. Polk loves her doctorate degree, however, she says that the best part about chiropractic school is that she met her future husband there!

After graduating, Dr. Polk moved to Sarasota, Florida, where she performed her internship with a pediatric chiropractic specialist. Dr. Polk and her husband then moved to Fort Myers in 1999, where they opened their own office. Anticipating the birth of their second daughter, Dr. Polk sold her office in 2005 to be able “to be a better mom to my kids and have more time for them.” Dr. Polk joined our group part-time in May, 2006. She not only brings to us her chiropractic experience, but her bubbly, enthusiastic personality, as well!
